Thanks. We'll be right with you.

Edgar (or someone from our crew) will reach out personally — usually within an hour during business hours, first thing the next morning if it's late.

No call center. No drip campaign. No "schedule a discovery call" link. A real person, with the answers.

Before we walk the line

Five quick things to think about.

None of this is required — but the more clarity you bring to the walkthrough, the tighter the quote, the faster the build, and the less back-and-forth later.

01The why

What's the fence solving?

Privacy from a new build next door. A dog that's already escaped twice. Pool inspection in three weeks. A house going on the market in spring.

Why it matters: The "why" tells us the right material, height, and code requirements before we even pull a tape measure.
02The line

Know roughly where it goes.

Survey stakes still in the ground? Property lines marked? Old fence to follow? If you have a plat or survey PDF on your closing docs, dig it up — text it to (757) 597-4513 ahead of time.

Why it matters: Saves 30 minutes of detective work the day we walk it. We'll still verify on-site — but we'll be fast about it.
03The HOA / utilities

Any rules in play?

HOA covenants on style, height, or color? Underground utilities you already know about (sprinklers, gas line to the grill, low-voltage)? Easements?

Heads up: HOA paperwork is yours to submit — your board will want it from the homeowner directly. We'll provide spec sheets, drawings, and color samples for your packet. We always call 811 for utility locates before we dig.
ity locates before we dig — but if you already know about a private line, that's gold. Avoids a $400 sprinkler repair.
04The look

Bring a photo or two.

A neighbor's fence you love. A Pinterest board. An Instagram screenshot. "I want it to look like that, but without the lattice top." Vague is fine — visual is better than verbal.

Why it matters: Saves you from picking from a brochure of options that don't include the one you actually want.
05The timeline

When do you need it done?

Closing date. Pool inspection. Puppy arriving. Wedding in the backyard. Just "this summer." Hard deadline or flexible?

Why it matters: Material lead times vary (cedar = 3-5 days, ornamental aluminum = 2-3 weeks). Knowing your deadline up front means we can spec around it instead of rushing materials.
06The decision-makers

Who else has a say?

Spouse, partner, neighbor on a shared line, business partner, board approval? If anyone else needs to weigh in, the walkthrough is the easiest time to get them in the loop.

Why it matters: Saves a second visit. Same-day quote means same-day decision — if everyone who needs to see it has seen it.
What happens next

From this page to final latch.

Here's exactly what to expect — no mystery meetings, no follow-up traps.

Within 1 hour

We reach out personally.

A text or call from Edgar (or someone on the crew who knows the job). We'll confirm a 30-minute window that works for you and answer any quick questions before we drive out.

2–5 days out

The walkthrough.

We meet you on-site. Walk the line together. Take measurements. Listen. Look at any photos you've collected. Talk through materials, height, gates, hardware. ~30 minutes.

Within 24 hrs

Written quote in your inbox.

We pull pricing from our suppliers and email you a written quote within 24 hours of the walkthrough. Itemized: materials, labor, haul-off, permits, locates. Yours to keep, no obligation, take a week to compare.

When you're ready

50% deposit locks the slot.

Triggers the material order. Most installs run 2–4 weeks out in season. We'll give you a real install window — not a vague "spring sometime."

Install day(s)

Owner on site. Job done right.

Edgar's on every install. Most residential jobs are 1–3 days. We clean up better than we found it. Final 50% due the day we finish — not before.
